Artory students win art award
I am so thrilled to share with you that quite a few of the students from the Artory art classes for kids were selected as finalists in the very prestigious Wollumbin Youth Art Awards at the Tweed Regional Gallery. Of those finalists, I am proud to announce Artory students Kya Lansom as the winner of the 9-12 age category and Sadie Eddy as Highly Commended in the 9-12 same category.
(My apologies for the terrible photo qualities below)
But congratulations must go to all of the young artists who entered the art prize. Regardless of whether you were selected as a finalist or not, you should all be very proud of mustering up the courage to enter an art prize! Parents, please give them a big pat on the back for me!
It’s wonderful to see our art classes for kids helping young ones not only exercise their creativity but also exercise their self-worth and courage. If your kids haven’t tried our painting classes for kids in Kingscliff or our online art classes, they could be missing out on developing the three C’s: confidence, courage and creativity. And parents, don’t forget that we teach art classes for adults too and the same principles apply: self-worth, courage and confidence are all developed when you practice your creativity. Why not try our beginner drawing course, our colour drawing course or our watercolour course in casuarina. Or give our online drawing classes or paint and sip online class a try.
