PRIVATE GROUP CLASSES
This ain’t your typical “paint and sip.” You’ll learn practical skills from a professional artist and have fun doing it. Perfect for small to medium sized groups.
At Artory, we take our art classes very seriously.
This is no “here’s the paint and off you go” kind of situation. You wont find tracing paper in our class. You’ll be taught actual drawing and painting skills by professional artists, with professional-grade, 100% archival materials. You’ll create a masterpiece fit for a frame, learn techniques AND have fun at the same time!
Our philosophy at the Artory is that absolutely EVERYONE is creative! You aren’t born with artistic talent - it is learned! And absolutely everyone CAN learn to draw and paint (just like we all learnt to read and write). Sometimes all we need is an expert to teach us. And that’s where we at the Artory come in.
Our classes are based in Casuarina NSW. Private group classes can be held at our own venue or yours, whichever suits you.
We offer two art mediums for private groups:
CHARCOAL:
This bold, black on white medium is great for large, loose artworks. It helps you to really get your whole body involved - fingers, palms, even elbows can create bold, interesting marks on the paper! Charcoal artworks look fantastic as statement pieces hung in the home. Because of their monochrome nature, they fit in with almost any decor.
WATERCOLOUR:
When used correctly, this colourful medium is fast and FUN to use! You can create a vibrant, dynamic artwork in one 2 hour session! You can work loose or realistic, the choice is yours! Watercolour can be used in a myriad of ways - from paintings that look like photos, to simple children’s book illustrations and even fabric designs!

When and where?
Our private group classes are 2 hours long and can be held at our Casuarina location (subject to venue availability) or your own venue.
What does it cost?
Our prices depend on your group size:
6-10 = $75 per person
11-25 = $65 per person
What do I bring to class?
All materials are provided (we only use professional-quality archival materials, you won’t find any cheap stuff here!).
