PLUS the “drawing daily” series covers a 30 day program of quick, 15 minute exercises designed to help you draw from life (not just from photos). It’s the basis for travel sketching, life drawing and developing your own body of work. When you can confidently draw anything in front of you, there are no limits to what you can create. 

A comprehensive series of classes designed to gradually introduce you to watercolour and build a thorough understanding. It covers techniques like wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, glazing, lifting-off colour, my “moozsch moozsch moozsch” and “feathering”.

You’ll learn how to work photo-realistically and detailed as in botanical illustration, or work large and loose in a fun, free-flowing style. You’ll also learn how to incorporate your watercolour with other mediums.  I’m sharing with you over a decade of knowledge that I have gained using watercolour as an award-winning artist.

A dedicated class on colour theory to help you understand colour mixing, hue, value, chroma, transparency, lightfastness and tinting strength. Practical colour theory is also woven into multiple classes so you can see how atmospheric colour principles and colour mixing applies to different settings.

Videos explaining how to use your equipment and set up your work space for success, like what angle your table should be on or how to organise the colours in your palette. I also share material-hacks used by us professional artists to make our everyday materials work even better.

Videos covering simple solutions to common problems, like how to keep your brush’s fine point or how to stop the dreaded watercolour “cauliflowers” from forming (and how to create them when you want them).
